imc from Saarbruecken receives eLearning Award twice
Saarbruecken, 03. January, 2022
The eLearning Journal has honored imc and its customers twice with the eLearning Award. This year, for the twelfth time, innovative and creative eLearning projects were honored at the national award program.
In the category "Micro Learning" the project "Tax & Legal Quality & Risk Management" was awarded, which imc implemented together with PricewaterhouseCoopers (PwC). The new e-learning replaces a mandatory training course at PwC that was previously conducted in person.
In six different exciting cases, the learners experience a real scenario of the daily work at PwC Tax & Legal, acquire new knowledge and apply it directly. They are part of a diverse PwC Quality & Risk Management team and support it in various missions. The modular structure of the e-learning makes it easy to adapt individual cases.
Storytelling, scenario-based learning, gamification and micro learning were chosen as didactic tools to make the e-learning as exciting as possible and at the same time enable a real reference to the working world. To underline the gamification and storytelling character, a comic-style design was developed.
Another award in the category "Validation" was won by imc together with its customer pfm medical for the "validated Learning Management System". As a company in the medical technology sector, pfm medical is subject to a strict obligation to provide proof of all work and training processes. By introducing the validated system, pfm medical can now record the prescribed complete documentation of all training courses directly in the Learning Management System (LMS) and does away with the paper records that were previously customary.
By validating the LMS, processes relevant to the validation of learning activities have been digitized and automated, saving time and resources and increasing security and reliability. Using a validated LMS today saves pfm medical about one working day of effort per week.
